How To Celebrate World Rose Day?

World Rose Day is celebrated every year on September 22 to bring happiness to patients battling cancer. The day is dedicated to spreading knowledge of the disease that spreads through all parts of the body through cells.

Rose is given to cancer patients as a gesture of care and tenderness to give them strength as they face the disease and its effects. Many cancer patients are given hand-made flowers, playing cards, and things on the day, and special events are arranged to provide energy to those coping with the disease.

History Of World Rose Day

In memory of 12-year-old Melinda Rose from Canada, who was diagnosed with Askin’s Tumour, a rare form of Blood Cancer, World Rose Day is observed. Doctors expected she would not survive for more than a few weeks, but she lived for six more months. She made each day meaningful during that time, touching the lives of those around her in a positive, unforgettable way. She would write e-mails, songs, and letters and make sure that the lives of people would bring her joy. She and several cancer patients like her who fight the disease are committed to World Rose Day.

World Rose Day, the way Melinda Rose touched the lives of people, is a reminder of giving back to cancer patients by spending quality time with them and adding joy to their lives.

How To Celebrate World Rose Day?

Cancer awareness is the most important thing. We should make individuals conscious of the significance of being vigilant about cancer. By gifting roses with a note to show them love, help, care, and compassion for cancer patients, you will cheer up cancer patients. By setting up awareness programmes in your society and educating people about cancer and ways to avoid it, you will celebrate this day.

Scientists believe tobacco is the main cause of cancer. Other causes are obesity, poor nutrition, inadequate physical activity, or alcohol use. On February 4, World Cancer Day is observed.
