Rolls-Royce Motor Cars are renowned for their outstanding quality, exquisite craftsmanship and attention to detail. When you arrive at a Rolls-Royce place , people know instantly that you are a man with some incredibly ravished taste and class, not to mention extremely wealthy ones.
Rolls-Royce, owned by the BMW, is of course an expensive vehicle for those intending to purchase. And it’s not just for the wealthy, it’s for the wealthy. Wealthy people know how to make money, whereas the rich have a lot of money, there’s a huge difference between the two worlds, but for now we’re going to stick to the Rolls-Royce.
History of Rolls Royce
The turn of the 20th century left its mark at the start of a groundbreaking relationship between two of the most creative minds of the moment. Henry Royce, a wealthy inventor, and Charles Rolls, owner of one of the UK’s first car dealerships, decided to market Rolls-Royce motor cars.
At that time, a new company was born: Rolls-Royce. The company was founded in 1906, when they started making luxury cars, later expanding into manufacturing engines for airplanes as well.
First Rolls Royce
Rolls-Royce Silver Dawn
It wasn’t until the company entered post-WWII manufacturing in 1946 that Rolls-Royce began to build and sell entire cars. The first complete car made by Rolls-Royce was the Silver Dawn – a sleek full-size four-door saloon car, produced between 1949 and 1955.
Condition to own Rolls Royce
A procedure where it is decided if the person wanting to buy a Rolls-Royce is “fit” enough to be its owner or not, the amount of money is not the only thing they take into consideration. Rolls-Royce carries out a complete background check of you, your entire history, profile, social standing for the past many years, including your past generation. Forget about even getting a test drive, they meant for the select few only.
You have to earn a Rolls Royce, you can’t buy one.
The most expensive Rolls-Royce is the Phantom; Phantom pricing starts at more than $450,000. For the ultimate in top-down motoring, there is the Rolls-Royce convertible, the Dawn; the Rolls-Royce coupe is the Wraith.
Rolls trusts only one person to paint its cars
Just one person on this earth trusts the company to paint the coach lines on its cars by hand, a retired pub sign painter called Mark Court.
It takes three hours to carefully pinstripe each side of a Rolls-Royce Phantom using bespoke brushes made from ox and squirrel hair. Each line must be precise level and a uniform 3mm width throughout, but instead of using any markings or rulers, Mark relies purely on sight and skill alone.
