The U.S. Space & Rocket Center showcases rockets and artifacts of the U.S. space program and is the largest spaceflight and aviation museum in the USA.
The center opened just after the Apollo 12 Moon landing and showcases Apollo Program exhibits, science exhibits, Space Shuttle exhibits, Army rocketry, and aircraft.
The Centre holds over 1,500 rocketry and space exploration artifacts, as well as exhibiting rotating rocketry and space-related exhibits. The center also offers bus tours to the nearby NASA Marshall Space Flight Center.
The U.S. Space Camps provide exposure to the space program through the use of simulators, lectures, and training opportunities. The Aviation Challenge offers insights into military fighter pilot training and careers.
