The Porsche Museum is an automobile museum that features over 80 exhibits, with many rare cars and a variety of historical models.
The museum’s exhibitions focus on the history of Porsche by showcasing vehicles together with media and historical artifacts.
The original Porsche museum opened in 1976, work on the current new Porsche Museum began in 2003 in the Zuffenhausen district of Stuttgart, Germany on the site of carmaker Porsche.
Porsche AG is a German automobile manufacturer specializing in high-performance sports cars, SUVs, and sedans. Ferdinand Porsche founded the company in 1931.
Initially, the company offered motor vehicle development work and consulting, but did not build any cars under its name.
The new company was assigned by the German government the project to design a car for the people. This initiative resulted in the first Volkswagen Beetle, one of the most successful car designs of all time.
The Porsche 64 was developed in 1939 using many components from the Beetle.

“A Porsche will always look like a Porsche. My grandfather took these shapes from nature, so the headlamps of the 911 maybe look a little like the eyes of a frog, but it comes from nature, and the best shapes are from nature, so why change?”
– Ferdinand Alexander Porsche
