The Nasher Sculpture Center exhibits modern and contemporary sculptures. The Center features rotating exhibitions drawn from its permanent collection as well as special exhibitions in its indoor and outdoor galleries.
The permanent collection of masterpieces include works by Raymond Duchamp-Villon, Paul Gauguin, Willem de Kooning, Alberto Giacometti, Barbara Hepworth, Henri Matisse, Joan Miró, Henry Moore, Pablo Picasso, Auguste Rodin, among others.
Special program events include Al Fresco dining, twilight strolls, bands and movies, and distinguished speakers on art, architecture, and other cultural topics.
The Nasher Sculpture Center also participates in the Dallas Arts District events and festivities together with the Dallas Museum of Art and other creative institutions in the area.
The museum has two levels with indoor and outdoor galleries. The garden terraces form an open-air theater.
