The Museo Nazionale dell’Automobile is the National Automobile Museum founded in Turin, Italy. The museum houses a collection of about 200 cars consisting of 80 automobile brands and representing eight countries.
The museum’s collection includes the first or early model cars from Bernardi, Fiat, Peugeot, Rolls Royce, Oldsmobile, Ford, and racing cars by Ferrari and Alfa Romeo. The collection represents automobiles from Italy, France, Great Britain, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, Poland, and the United States of America.
The museum also offers a library and documentation center. The Documentation Centre collects historical data sheets, photographs, documents, sales brochures, and construction diagrams related to cars. The collection includes tens of thousands of photographs.
The museum’s library holds about 7,000 texts, with most of the volumes dating back to the first phases of the automotive industry.
