The Museo Ferrari is dedicated to the Ferrari sports car marque with a collection of cars, trophies, photographs, and other historical artifacts relating to the Italian motor racing industry.
The museum’s exhibitions also focus on technological innovations, some of which had transitioned from racing cars to road cars.
The museum, which opened in 1990, is located close to the Ferrari factory in Ferrari’s home town of Maranello, near Modena, Italy.
The exhibits are mostly a combination of Ferrari road and racing cars. Many of Ferrari’s most iconic cars from throughout its history are present in the museum.
Examples of exhibits include the 1981 Formula One Championship Ferrari 126 CK, equipped with a 1,500 cc turbocharged engine, no. 27, was driven by the Canadian Gilles Villeneuve.
Museo Casa Enzo Ferrari, also known as Museo Enzo Ferrari, is a separate museum in Modena focused on the life and work of Enzo Ferrari, the founder of the Ferrari.
Enzo Ferrari (1898 – 1988) was an Italian motor racing driver and entrepreneur, the founder of the Scuderia Ferrari Grand Prix motor racing team, and the Ferrari automobile marque.
