1. The Giant, Hudson Bay, Lesser, Great Basin, Atlantic, Vancouver, and Dusky subspecies of Canada Geese have all been identified. The Cackling Goose (Richardson’s, minimum, Aleutian, Taverner’s) has four subspecies, each of which is currently considered its own species. The white chinstrap is visible on all 11 of them.
