Designer Kin Yeung favored simplicity and elegance and a modern mix of eastern and western design.   Black was prominent in the collection, with simple pleating, high collars and clean lines defining most of the looks.  Leathers and silks were brought together beautifully, revealing an edgier side to Blanc de Chine.  The women's line was accentuated with pops of bright jewel tones, and playful prints.  Capes made a big comeback this year, with Blanc de Chine showing off many of their own.  The modest hemlines on the dresses were mixed with modern cuts, resulting in a line that suits the needs of many tastes.  The men's collection was also an homage to eastern culture, consisting of silk pajama pants and mandarin-collared jackets.  The overall result of the men's collection looked a bit too much like The Matrix, however the classic east meets west theme was undeniable.
