Play By Ear: Chester French

by Brittney Barrett

Max Drummey and D.A. Wallach have been having a pretty good year. The Harvard-educated duo who make up the buzzed about new band, Chester French, found themselves fodder in a label war between Jermaine Dupris, Kanye West and Pharrell Williams. Now, they're signed to Interscope, on tour with Lady Gaga and about to release their first full-length album, Love the Future, on April 21.  Needless to say, the two 23-year-olds and their brand of pulsing, ear catching electro-pop are doing quite well, and yet a simple game of this or that shows us they'd give it all up for the nookie.

The Pet Shop Boys or Hall and Oates?

Max Drummey: Uhhh, pet shop boys are funnier than Hall and Oates.
D.A. Wallach: Hall and Oates are funnier than the Pet Shop Boys, unintentionally.

DA: Math is a science.

Lincoln or FDR?

DA: Lincoln.
MD: FDR (cripple! homo!)

Spring or fall?

Cambrige, MA or Cambridge, England?

MD: Cambrige, MA.

Outerspace or the deep sea?
